Naturally sculpted by the elements, drifted over lakes and rivers, carried by waves to the shores and beaches of Lake Ontario, then intuitively chosen and formed into art and magical tools. I feel like a child again playing with sticks! Walking along different local beaches and riverbanks searching for beautiful driftwood pieces connects me with nature in such an incredibly special way. Returned to land by water, the wood holds so much mystery; its orgins and age, how long and far has it traveled before ending in my path...
